There a couple of suprise omissions from Andrew's newsetter.

(1) While both the local Older People's Council and Buswatch, are not happy with possible proposals to reduce the time concessionary bus users can use their ticket; however both groups are particularly concerned about the possibility of the start time being changed from 9am to 9.30am.

While most ticket holders would just travel slightly later, it would have a disproportionate negative affect on those with medical appointments, or who require day care; and so would be a particularly unfair cut-back.

(2) Both Brighton Area Buswatch and the main bus company are opposed to the current Valley Gardens proposals, which could almost half maximum traffic capacity between St. Peter's Church and the Old Steine.
